When an actor keeps mistaking panic attacks for heart attacks in the middle of his auditions, it's time he face the root of his anxiety.
"The Brain That Cried Wolf" is a slapstick comedy short film that depicts the life of Ronald Osaki, a queer Asian actor in Hollywood who not only faces the challenges of fitting in the industry as a minority, but endures the exhausting cycles of panic disorder stemming from thanatophobia and hypochondria. The eccentric therapist Dr. Jeff played by Alec Mapa, helps Ron explore the root causes of his panic disorder in the most curious and hilarious ways.
