Operation Babylift survivor remembers evacuation from Vietnam
Montana resident Roger Castillo reflects on his evacuation from Vietnam in 1975 as he makes apple wine from a century-old orchard in his back yard. Roger was one of 3,000 children — mostly mixed-race orphans fathered by U.S. soldiers during the Vietnam War — evacuated during Operation Babylift near the end of the Vietnam War. Credits
